About Dennis Brennan
|
I’ve been an avid model railroader for over 40 years. I especially enjoy making scenery and kitbashing structures. In addition to running Brennan’s Model Railroading Products, I’m a professional scenery builder and modeler. From time to time I lend a hand to TWTrainworx in Dallas, a top professional layout building company. I’m also a commercial photographer and my photos have appeared in Classic Toy Trains, Model Railroader and O Gauge Railroading. I have photographed dozens of layouts for Classic Toy Trains and my photos often appear on the cover. I’ve also contributed numerous articles to Classic Toy Trains and my four-part series on Building the Sandy Harbor Terminal Railway appeared in the December 2007 to March 2008 issues. My book, Realistic Modeling For Toy Trains—A Hi-Rail Guide, published in 2009, has become an indispensable tool for the aspiring modeler. In another life, I’ve directed TV commercials, industrial films, television shows and music videos. Clients have included the American Cancer Society, Country Kitchen, Hallmark Cards, Purolator, Walmart and Schaper Toys. I graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in photography and filmmaking. |
